Scott is an avid surfer and I enjoy a good ride on a boogie
board from time to time. Bahia Majagual is a surfers' paradise.
It was great fun to experience and learn about surf culture
and see the natural blending of the laid back surfers and
the laid back Nicaraguans. The employees at the cabinas
seemed to put in about 2 hours worth of effort into each
shift, unless of course, flirting was part of their job
description.
Two
of the sweethearts were fighting over my digital camera
and it went crashing onto the concrete from at least
six feet in the air. The end of the filmtrips adventure?
No, it took licking but keeps on clicking. |

As
I returned from a surfing session I spotted something
in the sand. I picked it up and played with it as
any curious young boy would do. It turns out that
it was a Pelagic Sea Snake! Very rare and poisonous!
Yes indeed, for perhaps the last time in Nicaragua,
I cheated death once again! |
